Southwest Florida Paradise and the Perfect Places to Stay
I absolutely love traveling to Southwest Florida, specifically Fort Myers Beach and Naples. As soon as my feet hit the soft white sands and I put my face to the sun, I immediately feel myself unwind and relax. Not that I go to either place to just sit on the beach – there’s so much more to do and see than that!
Make It an Adventure
It really makes no difference if you’re looking for a family vacation, a few days of romance with a loved one or some outdoor action and adventure. You will find more than your fair share of activities here to suit all types of vacation.
Let’s start with something for the adventurists. In Naples, you can glide through the subtropical backwaters of the Everglades on an airboat, where you might just spot some unusual species. In Fort Myers Beach, you can kayak through the gorgeous mangroves at Lovers Key State Park, and both destinations have places to hike, bike, fish, paddleboard, parasail or swim in the warm, sparkling waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
Love is in the Air
With the incredible sunsets, award-winning dining and perfect beaches to stroll, both Naples and Fort Myers Beach will exceed all expectations for those looking for a romantic getaway. In Naples, you can wander the art galleries and buy something special for your other half from one of the many upscale boutiques. Or opt for a more lively date at Times Square in Fort Myers Beach, where you can enjoy a cocktail at one of the side street cafes and soak up the energy as you watch the sun go down.
Families have endless options for activities to make each and every day memorable for the kids. Whether the kids are in their element enjoying the outdoor life at one of the state parks, hitting the beach to spend the day in the ocean, going for ice cream or daring a parasailing adventure, the memories created in Fort Myers Beach and Naples will last a lifetime!
Home Away from Home
Another wonderful component of traveling to Southwest Florida is the choice of accommodations to suit all travelers. SunStream Hotels and Resorts are great places to stay in Fort Myers Beach and Naples. For those travelling to the East Coast of Florida, SunStream’s Oceanside Inn located on Daytona Beach is another brilliant option. It offers a south Daytona Beach location and is perfectly situated to enjoy local events and attractions.
Each SunStream property is different and allows you many choices depending on your lifestyle. Some are beach resorts, while others luxury boutiques or nature inspired. What they all have in common is modern spacious suites, sparkling pools, top-notch service and a way of making their guests feel as comfortable as if they were in there own home – without having to do the house work!
Though my trip this time was short, I still got to enjoy the beach, kayaking, incredible sunsets and a perfect SunStream accommodation. If all goes as planned, I will be back in a few short months!
